Overall assessment of the dealer (verified): same comments as above. long wait and lack of essential parts. i may add that my request for repair to my abs had to be deferred because vw needed to obtain approval for an item still under warranty. i am now scheduled to have the abs repaired tomorrow 22-11-2022 and i worry that i may have to wait the whole day for it to be done. i think better scheduling may speed up the work and not keep customers idly waiting. Repair quality: faily satisfactory. vw hartamas did not have certain parts for my my rear mirror controller Organization: as above. also, waiting time for my car to be serviced took more than a day. my earlier services at vw sungai besi usually took half a day

Passat - The Best Car in This Segment

I have been an owner of 3 VW cars over the course of the last 10 years ranging from the 1.2 TSI, 1.4TSI and 2.0 TSI engines. Customer service has significantly improved over the course of the last decade as well as the cars reliability. However in terms of driver experience, I reckon there are few cars that drive the way a VW does. They are real drivers cars with a very good balance in between performance and affordability. No other cars within the same price range as competitors drive the way they do. I am certain that my next car would be another VW.

Dishonest service. Beware.

Customer care: When I asked to note down the reason why my absorbers need to be replaced, this Chinese dude who is not even my service advisor said just write parts are faulty without even knowing the whole story, ie can’t check further because suspect not all parts are genuine because they were not replaced by VW dealer. Who does he think he is? What a conman. Organization: Terrible. No follow up even though I’ve paid a deposit to order parts for over a month. Repair quality: Complained of minor noise when sent car for service. Centre said can’t hear noise but added lubricant. Noise became less after service, and Centre suggested to test drive with technician if there is still noise when I come in again to replace parts. For my second appointment, Yuvan test drove with me. Managed to hear a bit of noise and he said possibly need to replace the bush parts from the absorber. After checking, I was informed that I need to replace entire front and back absorbers because they suspect not all parts are original, and they can only check further if everything is replaced by VW. That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. I did not proceed with the replacement of all my absorbers, which were quite new (replaced in Dec 2019 and hardly drove cause of covid). Got my car and the entire vehicle now is creaking loudly. I’ll never go back to this centre again and I’ll be sure to warn whoever I meet never to step foot in this deceitful place.
